Vikings League Referees
ADDRESS FOR REFEREE SIGN UP REQUESTS: Refsoccer@sfvikings.com
Generally referees are booked to do a series of games in a row usually 2 or 3. Whether it is 2 or 3 games depends on the number of games on the field that day. This enables us to simplify our referee-assigning task and at the same time allows referees to make a fair amount of money for coming out. In addition, we pay a bonus to referees who sign up for games in advance (but if you sign up early and later cancel you will no longer be eligible for this bonus-EVER!)

California North Referee Administration (CNRA)
CNRA offers USSF Grade 8 Referee and Grade 9 Recreational Referee clinics through the nine CYSA-N Districts. To determine in which District you are located, please refer to the Directory.
USSF Grade 8 Referee
The Grade 8 clinic consists of six (6) 3-hour sessions, for a total of eighteen (18) hours of instruction. Attendance at all sessions is required for successful completion of the course. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates may register as Grade 8 Referees with the United States Soccer Federation for a registration fee ($25.00 as of June 19, 2001).
USSF Grade 9 Recreational Referee
The USSF Grade 9 Recreational Referee may officiate games as either a Referee or Assistant Referee on recreational youth games for under-14 and younger only. They may not officiate older ages, competitive youth matches (Class 1), or adult matches. For the latter matches, you must be at least a Grade 8 Referee. The Grade 9 clinic consists of a one-day eight-hour class. Upon successful completion of the course, candidates may register as Grade 9 Recreational Referees with the United States Soccer Federation for a registration fee ($20.00 as of June 19, 2001).

San Francisco Soccer Referee Association (SFSRA)
Assignors can sign up to use SFSRA.ORG to collect referee data, including referee availability and game reports. Assignors can use game report data to generate invoices for leagues and to pay referees. Furthermore, Assignors can put on their League Administrator hats, and make reports from the game data, including league standings, misconduct reports, and top goal scorers. Say "Red Card" to stamps, paper and US Mail delays! SFSRA.ORG makes your job as Assignor or Administrator much easier.
